During battles, a Trainer can choose to use its Pokemon's Charge Move, its Fast Move or its Dodge ability. By swiping either right or left on the screen the Pokemon will attempt to evade an enemy Move. If successful, the Dodging Pokemon will avoid the enemy attack and will not take any damage.

- Charge Type Moves generally deal more damage than Fast Moves, therefore Dodging Charge Moves if the most effective use of the Dodge ability.
